From cultivation breakthroughs and manufacturing advancements to retail experiences, tech platforms, and game-changing ancillary services, this program is built to recognize what’s actually moving the business ahead. Not ideas — execution.

This year’s inaugural categories span the full cannabis ecosystem, giving brands, operators, and service providers a platform to showcase innovation that delivers real results whether that’s driving efficiency, unlocking new revenue, strengthening compliance, or elevating the customer experience. 

Whether you’ve built a category-defining product, streamlined operations in a meaningful way, or introduced something the industry hasn’t seen before — this is where it gets recognized.

Entries are evaluated by MJBizDaily, MJBizCon, and MJBizCon Advisory Council leaders who understand what innovation looks like in practice. Each category will name two finalists (including the winner), with all category winners advancing for Innovation of the Year.

We’re also accepting submissions for Innovator of the Year, recognizing the individual or team making the biggest impact on the industry.

Winners will be announced live at MJBizCon 2026 in front of the most influential audience in cannabis.
